New guy from KS

Postby cody08 » Mon Jun 07, 2010 1:21 am

Whats up guys, my name is Cody and I'm from Junction City Kansas. I work at a small shop here and am getting ready to start a new build on my 95 tahoe.

This is my current set up but just isn't enough anymore.
3 powerbass 3xl 15s and a powerbass XTA 5000d, it did a 152.9 at 50 hz.

I think I'm gonna try some Orion HCCA 15s in the new box, anyone here have any experience with them?

Welcome. I'm only about an hour and a half from you. Do you ever make it to any of the shows in Topeka?

How do you like those Powerbass subs? I was thinking of trying out one of their lower lines, but have never heard them.

I don't have any experience with the HCCA's, but from what I've read they get stupid loud. Lots of people seem to like them.

I was gonna say, I know they are HARD to find right now.

What kind of a deal can you get them for? If you don't mind me asking...

The same guy that MIGHT sell his is ONLY selling his because he is having a hard time finding another

We make it to some of the mwspl shows on occasion. The power bass subs have been great but just don't hold up for what I'm wanting. I might just have to do like 8 of them or something but we will see.

I get a decent deal on them but I don't want to buy one unless I can get at least three more. I thought about the RE MT's but I have heard rumors that RE isn't doing well so I'm not sure what I want to do. I liked the idea of the HCCA's because its not something you see everywhere.
